General assembly has started the carrier rocket "Proton-M" to run the Russian spacecraft "Express-AM4"

At the Baikonur Cosmodrome on going training program run spacecraft «Express-AM4» designed and manufactured in Europe by Astrium in collaboration with the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "State Research and Production Space Center of MV Khrunichev «commissioned by the Russian operator Federal State Unitary Enterprise» Space Communication "(RSCC).

Today in the assembly and test complex 92-A50 begun general assembly of the head space (HGC) with the carrier rocket «Proton-M».

The night before, ended in the preparation of SHM spacecraft «Express-AM4» installed on the upper stage «Briz-M» and the doors closed fairing, to dock with a booster.

This afternoon, SHM was taken to the hall 111 Mika, home of the general assembly of the necessary checks and space rocket (ILV) «Proton-M».

Operations on the general assembly of the ILV will take several days.

Then transported to the ILV technical service station for refueling tanks low pressure booster «Briz-M». After that, the ILV will be fully prepared for export to the launch complex.
