Vostochny Construction to Begin in Summer, 2011

Construction of the Vostochny space port in Amur region will begin in summer, 2011, regional Minister of Vostochny construction Konstantin Chmarov told Interfax.
Chmarov also said that launch pad construction is slated for 2012. According to him, the preparation for construction is over, pending final steps.
In 2011, laying of railway and highway is to be finalized at the space port construction place, Chmarov added.
