Progress docked to the ISS at the second attempt

Cargo ship Progress M-06M "on the second try docked to the International Space Station. According to agency «Interfax» in the Mission Control Center, docking in the automatic mode.

«Progress» was supposed to dock to the station the evening of July 2, but a ship out of service automatic rendezvous and docking «Course». At a distance of 2-3 kilometers from the ISS, she began to walk off the truck side.

Attempts to transfer control to manual mode without success. The commander of the ISS crew, Alexander Skvortsov transferred from the station, astronauts have observed that «uncontrolled spin» spacecraft flew past the ISS.

July 4 experts Mission Control Center had corrected the orbit of the «Progress», to prepare them for re-docking.
