Progress M-25M Cargo Transport Spacecraft Docks to ISS

On 29 October 2014 at 04:08 p.m. Moscow Time, the Progress M-25M resupply vehicle docked with the Pirs docking compartment of the ISS Russian Segment.
The automatic docking operations were carried out under the supervision of the Russian members of the ISS crew and specialists from FSUE TsNIImash Mission Control Center.

Progress M-25M will deliver various supplies to the ISS including fuel, oxygen, food, experiments, and parcels for the cosmonauts and astronauts. The fresh fruit and vegetable kit will include oranges, grapefruits, lemons, bulb onions, garlic, tomatoes, and apples. It will also contain mini summer sausages with garlic, bacon, and mustard in accordance with the cosmonauts’ desire. Following the preferences, the additional food packages include: 23 food items for A. Samokutyaev and 7 ones for E. Serova which are largely spices, sauce, cowberry, and milk.

The overall condition of food and equipment on board the ISS: „The explosion of the Cygnus private US cargo ship will have no consequences for supply of the ISS domestic segment, but it may lead to changing in structure of supply delivery to the station for the near future.
Russia carries everything needed for the ISS crews using mainly the Russian Progress ships. Every year, four such spacecraft are launched. If the urgent delivery of any US cargo to the ISS is requested, we will meet the request. But so far we have not received such a request from NASA,“ said A.B. Krasnov, Head of Manned Mission Department.
