Using high and very high resolution data (RESURS-DK1, IKONOS, Quick-Bird, ALOS etc), current changes are operationally observed, and various objects of urban infrastructure under construction are planned and controlled.

The tasks of municipal services monitoring are as follows:

• Updating of urban building boundaries;


• Monitoring of urban transport infrastructure;


• Planning and control of urban construction activities;


• Monitoring of urban recreation areas;


• Monitoring of city dumps and garbage sites, detecting of unauthorized dumps.
