Remote sensing data application is rather urgent in resource management. Space monitoring makes possible acquiring operational data on the environment, natural and anthropogenic objects within the areas of mining operations. Remote sensing data is used effectively in prospecting work of mineral deposits and in designing objects of minerals production and refinement.

Imagery data are essential in detecting and assessing man-made pollution of the environment as the results of economic activities.

Remote sensing data is used for ecological control over territories of minerals production and refinement, control over preventive measures for the environmental protection, and man-made object conditions.
