ASTRA 2G Satellite Placed into Target Orbit. / December 28, 2014 /

On 28 December 2014 at 09:49 Moscow Time, the ASTRA 2G communication satellite separated from the Breeze-M upper stage in the target orbit and was taken under the customer’s control.

The Proton-M booster liftoff was made by the launching teams of the Russian Rocket & Space Industry on 28 December 2014 at 00:37 Moscow Time from Pad 200 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

ASTRA 2G was put into the target orbit by the Breeze-M upper stage.

This launch was the final ILS Proton mission of ROSCOSMOS in 2014.
