Baikonur is conducted refueling spacecraft "Globalstar-2". / September 1, 2011 /

At the Baikonur Cosmodrome, work is continuing on the program «Globalstar-2». In the assembly and testing facility (MIC) sites 112 representatives of foreign clients perform refueling third spacecraft (SC) «Globalstar-2» propellants. The two spacecraft are refilled dispenser ready to assemble the space head part (HGC). After completing the filling of all space vehicles representatives of foreign clients and Russian specialists will begin to assemble SHM.

Upper stage «Fregat», intended for launching into orbit a cluster of 6 SC «Globalstar-2», passed the full cycle of an autonomous training and the necessary checks and is in the assembly and testing facility 31-40 in storage mode with a constant temperature and pressure control in the tanks with fuel components.

Launch is planned from the Baikonur launch complex pl.31 through space rocket «Soyuz-2.1a» and the upper stage «Fregat».
