China decided on the launch date of unmanned spacecraft «Shenchzhou-8», said «Xinhua». Home is scheduled for November 1, 2011 at 1:48 Moscow time from the Baikonur Tszyutsyuanskogo in northeast China.

It is reported that the device and launch site were all Prelaunch validation. Currently being prepared for filling them with fuel.

The main goal of «Shenchzhou-8» will be docked with the space station «Tyangun-1», which is currently orbiting the Earth. With the help of an unmanned spacecraft is planned to develop technology for docking in orbit.

Upon successful completion of the mission «Shenchzhou-8» to «Tyangun-1» go already manned spacecraft — «Shenchzhou-9» and «Shenchzhou-10». Their launches are planned for 2012. In case of failure, «Shenchzhou-9» will likely also unmanned.

Module «Tyangun-1» weighing 8.5 tons was launched at the end of September 2011. In terms of functionality orbiter reminiscent of Soviet «Salyut» and he must have worked in orbit for about two years. Creating a full-fledged space station, China plans to complete in 2020.

Originally module planned for launch in August. However, the launch was postponed due to the fact that the missile «Changzheng 2-C» was not able to launch an experimental satellite «Shitszyan» SJ-11-04 (probably a prototype satellite early warning of missile attack). Module into orbit was to withdraw the missiles of the same family as the «Changzheng 2-C».
