GALILEO FOC М4 Taken under Customer’s Control. / December 17, 2015 /

On 17 December 2015 at 18:39 MSK, the European pair of GALILEO FOC М4 satellites separated from the Fregat upper stage. The spacecraft are taken under the Customer’s control in the designed orbit.

The liftoff of the Soyuz-ST-B rocket with Fregat–MT upper stage and two European Galileo FOC-M3 satellites took place on 17 December 2015 at 14:51 MSK from the Guiana Space Center (GSP, French Guiana).

The GALILEO FOC М4 spacecraft are manufactured by the order of the European Space Agency. They will supplement the European GALILEO navigation in-orbit constellation.
