On Baikonur began testing the third satellite "Glonass-M". / October 11, 2011 /

October 4 in the chamber assembly and finishing of the test case area 92A-50 specialists Baikonur space industry began adjusting to the work of a spacecraft «Glonass-M» and review its systems. This is the third satellite of the cluster, scheduled for launch in November, the carrier rocket «Proton-M» with the upper stage «Briz-M».

«Breeze-M» is transported to the gas station site 31 space center, which will be filling with propellant components and compressed gases pressure tanks. Two days later, after filling the upper stage will be returned on the 92nd platform for continued testing.

At the launch complex area 81 rocket calculations Space Center «South» began to prepare equipment and facilities for the upcoming launch.

October 3 with the successful launch of the state test Plesetsk (Arkhangelsk Region) spacecraft «Glonass-M» increased orbital GLONASS, which currently consists of 28 of its spacecraft and will receive signals without restriction throughout the world.
