At the Baikonur Cosmodrome, work is continuing on the program "Globalstar-2". / August 30, 2011 /

Today in the assembly and testing facility 40 sites 31 businesses calculations of space-rocket industry after charging overloading spent upper stage (RB) «Frigate» in the workplace. Currently, the upper stage is ready for docking with the spacecraft, «Globalstar-2.»

RB will be used for launching into orbit a cluster of 6 spacecraft «Globalstar2.»

Previous launch of six satellites, «Globalstar-2» for the eponymous U.S. communications system has been successfully implemented carrier rocket «Soyuz-2.1a» with the upper stage «Fregat» July 13, 2011.
