Kanopus-V-IK Prelaunch Processing. / July 9, 2017 /

On 9 July 2017, at Assembly&Testing Building, Pad 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the Roscosmos’s experts installed the upper composite on the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket third stage as part of the prelaunch processing of Kanopus-V-IK and the 72 small satellite cluster secondary payload.

On 10 July the Soyuz-2.1a general assembly will be completed, and the State Commission will consider the results of rocket and ground equipment prelaunch processing and make the decision to roll out Soyuz-2.1a to launch site.

The launch of Soyuz-2.1a with Kanopus-V-IK is scheduled for 14 July 2017 at 09:36 MSK from Pad 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The Fregat upper stage will put into three different orbits Kanopus-B-IK and secondary small satellites.
