Launch of the Discovery shuttle to the ISS has postponed again.. / November 3, 2010 /

NASA postponed the launch of space shuttle Discovery to the International Space Station (ISS) until at least Nov. 4, according to the website of an aerospace agency.

Additional time is needed to NASA specialists to check the power supply system of shuttle engines, which on the morning of Tuesday, November 2, identified the problem.

Start the Discovery carries the third time. Originally it was planned that the shuttle will be launched from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral on November 1. NASA specialists while assuring that the start will not be postponed despite the fact that October 18 was found leaking plugs in the shuttle’s tail section. However, the repairs take longer than planned, and the launch of Discovery was moved first to the 2, and then on November 3.

The upcoming flight will be the last for the space shuttle «Discovery». The spacecraft is to deliver to ISS the various equipment and robotic android. Last in the history of the Discovery mission is designed for 11 days.
