Run, asked in the press service of the Federal Space Agency, was completed in 03:39 on Friday, February 12.

"Start made in 03:39 Moscow time with the 39 th launcher platform 200 Baikonur Cosmodrome. Launcher ’Proton-M’ must lead to sub-orbital trajectory of an orbital block, consisting of the upper stage and spacecraft ", — explained the agency.

Intelsat satellite designed for 16 years. It was created by Orbital Sciences commissioned by the U.S. satellite operator Intelsat.

Start launcher heavy class «Proton-M» was the second for this device in 2010 and 353-m for all time, said Interfax.
