Cargo spacecraft "Progress M-05M remains, wich not burned in the atmosphere, was sank on November 15 in the non-navigational area in the South Pacific Ocean, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the representative of the Mission Control Center. Truck, developed its resources, was used as a Science and Technology Laboratory. Until October 25 was docked to the International Space Station.

Among the experiments conducted at the «Progress», was a «Radar-Progress», in which the identified characteristics of plasma formations arising from the work of the engine space of a truck. Products ejection engines were studied using incoherent scatter radar, located 120 km from Irkutsk. Radar owned by the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics, Irkutsk Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"Progress M-05M was launched to the ISS from the Baikonur cosmodrome April 28, 2010 and docked with the ISS on May 1. The ship, capable of accommodating about 2.5 tons of payload, belonged to the family of «Progress», exploited since 1978.
