GOES-14 satellite, one of the American GOES (Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite) system passed the first snapshot of the Sun.

GOES-14 has received the image shining through its instrument of Solar X-Ray Imager (SXI), which is a telescope «sees» in the soft X-ray range. The device will take pictures of the solar atmosphere every minute. Collected GOES-14 information specialists predicted sunny weather.
