Russian Rocket to Launch European Galileo Satellites from Kourou in August or September. / March 23, 2011 /

The maiden launch of Russian carrier Soyuz ST from French space port Kourou is slated for later summer or early fall of 2011, Roscosmos Head Anatoly Perminov stated at Votkinsk, quoted by Interfax.
According to him, Russian rocket is to loft two satellites for European navigation system Galileo.
Perminov also added that the acceptance of the Soyuz launch pad in French Guiana is scheduled for late April.
