Today in the assembly and testing facility 42 of Baikonur FSUE TsENKI — Space Center «South» crews in support of the specialists of Ukrainian space enterprises conduct unloading of the cars block the launch vehicle «Zenit-2M», which should be put into orbit a Russian interplanetary station "Phobos-Grunt. " Then the missile units will be transferred to storage mode.

Work with the launch vehicle «Zenit-2M» in its preparation for the launch is scheduled for October this year.

Launch space rocket «Zenit-2M» from the Russian interplanetary station «Phobos-Grunt» with the 45 th site Baikonur is scheduled in the autumn of 2011.

The unique mission of a spacecraft «Phobos-Grunt» involves the delivery of material from the satellite’s surface of Mars — Phobos. Home automation station weight 13 200 kg, the term of active existence in outer space — 3 years. The structure of scientific instruments include chromatographic, geophysical, plasma-dust, and other devices.
