Flight testing of the spacecraft "Spektr-R". / September 16, 2011 /

Experts NPO. Lavochkin continue the program of flight tests of the spacecraft (SC) «Spektr-R».

During the week, they successfully held beam antenna alignment, test onboard control complex in the mode of a digital telemetry, spacecraft solar arrays that operate in normal mode.

Also continued work on the determination of optimal temperature of the spacecraft and debugging of complex «Plasma-F».

After analyzing the materials specialist associations will be given recommendations for further work.

The launch vehicle «Spektr-R» was successfully carried out July 18, 2011 from Baikonur.

«Spektr-R» — Astrophysical Observatory of the international project «Radioastron» created in NPO Lavochkin Space Agency to order in accordance with the Federal Space Program. The main scientific instrument space laboratory is a radio telescope — receiving dish antenna, equipped with equipment to strengthen, the reception, conversion and transfer of scientific information to Earth.
