The Progress M-17M Resupply Spacecraft Corrected the Orbit of the International Space Station. / April 10, 2013 /In order to form a working orbit of the International Space Station before the flight of Progress M-19M cargo spacecraft, the landing of manned Soyuz TMA-07M spacecraft, and the flight of manned spacecraft Soyuz TMA-09M spacecraft, the ISS orbit was corrected. The maneuver was carried out on 3 April using the Progress M-17M engines. According to the ballistic-navigation service the Mission Control Center of TsNIImash, the resupply spacecraft engines were started at 23:40 Moscow Time and worked for 277.3 seconds. This dynamic operation resulted in the ISS increment velocity by 0.6m/s. The average height of the ISS orbit increased by 1kilometer and was 410.7km.
