Experts of NTsOMZ continue to investigate signs of preparation catastrophic earthqake in China on May, 12th, 2008. The Basic criterion search of the global geophysical reasons which have caused the catastrophic natural phenomena in region – earthquakes in Sintszjane М7.2 and Sychuane М7.9, a typhoon «Nargis», carried away lives more than 200 thousand persons is. We will recollect, victims ЗМТ and tsunami on Sumatra in December, 2004 became more than 300 thousand earth dwellers. Alas, even by such huge victims to our knowledge of the nature and the mechanism of start ЗМТ has not increased at all. Shy attempts in this direction become in the Center. But the state support and the international cooperation is necessary. For what we also call officials, colleagues and business.

In Russia the most seismodangerous place is Kamchatka where it is expected powerful earthqake. Experts of the Center together with youth fund «PET» (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskij) daily trace a situation in region, carrying out monitoring of seismosigns by land-space means. Our previous forecast about ЗМТ with М6.5 + on Kamchatka is prolonged till July, 14th, 2008
