Federal Space Agency joined formally the International Charter on Space and Major Disasters

On 16-19 April 2013 in Berlin (Germany), the 29th Board and Executive Secretariat Meeting of the International Charter on Space and Major Disasters was held wherein the ROSCOSMOS formally made the request to join the Charter to Board’s representatives. Thus, the Federal Space Agency becomes the Charter’s formal member.

The Anik G1 spacecraft is put into orbit

On 16 April at 07:49 Moscow Time according to the flight plan, the Canadian Anik G1 telecomunication satellite was separated from the Breeze-M upper stage.
